JobStart is pleased to announce our organization is one of the Employment Ontario service providers selected to deliver the Ministry of Training and Colleges and Universities’ new youth and students employment program: Youth Job Link.

The Youth Job Link program will be offered at two of JobStart’s locations:

* 219 Dufferin Street, Ste. 1C (south of King St., east side of Dufferin St. in the Dufferin Liberty Centre building in the lower level)
* 2930 Lake Shore Blvd. W. (corner of Lake Shore Blvd. W. and Islington Ave.)

Youth Job Link starts April 1, 2016

The Youth Job Link program is designed to help youth, including students, aged 15 to 29, who do not face significant barriers to employment, but who could benefit from extra help to plan their careers and transition to the labour market.

The Youth Job Link will provide three categories of non-intensive employment services, each of which will be available year-round. They are:

* Career exploration services to increase knowledge of career options and support career decision-making;
* Career management services to improve readiness for the labour market; and,
* Job search, readiness and matching assistance to connect youth with employers offering employment opportunities, including summer jobs.

We welcome all interested youth and students to contact JobStart at 416-231-2295, or visit our 219 Dufferin St. Ste. 1C or 2930 Lake Shore Blvd. W. locations to speak with a JobStart Job Coach.

This Employment Ontario program
