Enhanced Language Training provides Internationally Trained IT Professionals a menu of employment and language services to assist them in obtaining and retaining employment in the IT Sector and integrate successfully into the Canadian workplace.
Eligibility:
• Newcomer to Canada 18 years of age and over
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Internationally trained, educated in IT with relevant experience
• Minimum level 6/7 Canadian Language Benchmark in English
Services available include:
• Job search workshops
• Six weeks of sector-specific IT language training
• Workplace culture orientation
• Up to eight weeks of IT work placement
• Referral to the Mentoring Partnership.
• Job Development Support
• Language coaching for clients while on the worksite throughout the placement period
